Ingredients
- ♡ ½ Cup All-Purpose Flour
- ♡ 450g Packet Firm Tofu, Drained And Pressed (For At Least 15 Mins) -Cut Into Cubes
- ♡ 3 Tablespoon Extra-Virgin Olive Oil
- ♡ ¼ Cup Soy Sauce
- ♡ 1 Clove Garlic – Crushed
- ♡ 1 Tablespoon Freshly Grated Ginger
- ♡ 4 Cups Green Beans - Trimmed
- ♡ 3 Tablespoon Extra-Virgin Olive Oil
- ♡ ¾ Cup Vegetable Broth
- ♡ 1 Tablespoon Cornflour
- ♡ To Serve: Steamed Rice.
Instructions
- ♥ Place flour in plastic bag, add tofu and coat. Shack off the excess flour and put the tofu on a plate.
- ♥ Heat oil in a heavy pot, fry the tofu in batches until golden-brown, remove and place on absorb paper to drain oil. Set aside.
- ♥ In a small bowl combine: soy sauce, garlic, ginger and set the mixture aside.
- ♥ Using a wok, heat the oil and add the green beans, stir fry 1minute. Add the soy sauce mixture, stir fry 1 minute, reduce heat and cook until the beans are just under cooked.
- ♥ Whisk the vegetable broth with the cornflour in a small bowl and add to the beans in the wok, stir fry until the sauce thickens.
- ♥ Add the tofu and stir fry until heated through. If it becomes too thick add water.
- ♥ Serve with steamed rice
