Ingredients
- Dough For 6 Gozleme:
- ♡ 1 ½ Cups Plain Flour
- ♡ ¾ Cup Self Raising Flour
- ♡ ½ Tsp Salt
- ♡ 1 Cup Warm Water (½ Boiling And ½ Regular)
- Extra plain flour
- ♡ 1 ½ Tbls Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- ♡ Extra Olive Oil
- Filling:
- 6 Cups Chopped Silverbeet/Spinach (Leaves Only)
- 3 Cups Of Grated Cheese (We Used 2 Cups Mozzarella, 1 Cup Fetta)
Instructions
- ♥ Shift flours and salt together into a bowl and make a well.
- ♥ Pour the water and add ½ teaspoon oil, using a rounded knife bring the flours into the water mix until it forms a dough.
- ♥ Turn the dough onto a floured board and very gently knead the dough, it should be very soft silky.
- ♥ Put the dough back into the bowl and cover with plastic let it stand for 10 minutes
- ♥ Roll out the dough into a rectangular shape about 35 cm X 25 cm. spread the remaining oil evenly over the surface, press down with your fingers.
- ♥ Roll the dough along the long side and divide into 6 even portions (100g each)
- ♥ Roll out each portion to a 3mm think circle and on half the circle add 1 cup spinach and ½ cheese.
- ♥ Fold the un-topped half over the spinach and cheese and press down the sides.
- ♥ Heat a little extra oil in a non stick fry pan add the Gozleme brush with oil. Pan fry until underside is toasted and flip the Gozleme. Flatten with a spatual and continue cooking. Should take 1- 2 minutes of each side.
- ♥ Remove from heat cut and enjoy with fresh lemon juice.
