Ingredients
- ♡ 2 large parsnips thinly sliced (I used a mandoline)
- ♡ 3 Large potatoes thinly sliced (i used a mandoline)
- ♡ 2 Shallots, chopped
- ♡ 40g butter
- ♡ 1 ½ Tbls plain flour
- ♡ 250ml full cream milk (warm)
- ♡ 50g Mature Cheddar Cheese, grated
Instructions
- ♥ Grease a casserole dish and layer potatoes, parsnips, shallots.
- ♥ Melt butter, stir in the flour and cook stirring for 1 minute.
- ♥ Add milk use a whisk, stir until thickened, add cheese, pour over dish
- ♥ Bake 45 minute at 180º C oven until cooked through. (Reduce heat if it quickly browns)
- ♥ Serve with green salad.
