I often find that worry and reasoning are two powerful forces that can hinder my fitness progress. It usually begins with a negative thought, like “I’m too busy,” and it’s easy to follow it up with a list of reasons why I can’t exercise. This cycle can lead to neglecting my physical well-being.
I understand that life can get incredibly busy, and sometimes it feels impossible to stick to a regular exercise routine. Getting back into the groove of consistent exercise can be a daunting task. That’s why I believe it’s crucial to start with manageable workout sessions.
Right now, we’re at the end of our term 3 program, and if you haven’t had the chance to return to or join our classes, then it may be a good time to consider the 9 Minute Fitness WELLth program. Starting with just 9 minutes of exercise each day can be a game-changer.
Completing this short and effective program daily creates a “positive feedback loop” because; success breeds success, and every time you finish a workout, you will receive positive feedback from yourself! This positive reinforcement boosts self-confidence and will motivate you to make fitness an integral part of your daily life.
I’ve come to understand that motivation can be fickle, and it often comes and goes. However, discipline and consistency are the real keys to establishing a lasting exercise routine. Therefore, start with small steps, gradually build momentum, and make sure to celebrate your achievements along the way!
Live well with Health and WELLth!
