We are 2 weeks into 2023 and half way through our 9 minute exercise challenge. Success at this point can go either way; it depends on what was driving your motivation at the beginning of the challenge.
In my experience there are two approaches in finding motivation for daily exercise:
- Some people need to force themselves to exercise, because they don’t have clear objectives. There is a pattern of “feet dragging” and having to “push” to find motivation. Exercise for these people is an unpleasant experience and is easily avoided with any excuse.
- Others are certain of the benefits of daily exercise. They plan to exercise with an unwavering commitment. Motivation to exercise for these people is fuelled with enthusiasm to complete their daily workout.
Mindset plays an important role in finding inspiration for exercise; however whether your motivational glass is currently half empty or full, it’s good to know that your motivation for fitness can be easily found with 9 minutes of daily exercise!
